What is included in your nightly rate?

With every room reservation, the nightly room rate includes breakfast, afternoon refreshments, beach badges & beach chairs, bicycles, and Wi-Fi. 

Does Beauclaire's allow pets?

Beauclaire's Bed & Breakfast Inn cannot accommodate pets. 

Are there rooms with ocean views or balconies?

Haleys Cottage and Brandons Quarters rooms have ocean views. Guest rooms do not have private balconies, but the inn features a small third-floor common porch known as the “widow’s watch,” along with a larger lemonade porch facing the ocean.

Do all rooms have private bathrooms?

Each guest room at Beauclaire's Bed & Breakfast Inn includes a private bath, some with a walk-in shower, and some with a clawfoot tub/shower. The Beauclaire's suite also offers a whirlpool tub.

Does Beauclaire’s offer parking?

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available for guests, providing convenient access throughout your stay.

Are beach tags included?

Beach badges are required.  Each Beauclaire's Bed & Breakfast Stay includes a beach tag/badge for each guest to use during their stay. 

Planning Your Stay

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Arrangements must be made in advance in order to ensure your entry if you plan to check in later than 7:00 PM.  Check-out time is 11:00 AM. A later check-out time may be accommodated for an additional $70 charge.

What is the best time of year to visit Cape May?

The best time to visit Cape May depends on the type of experience you’re looking for. May, June, September, and October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and better availability, while shops, restaurants, and attractions remain open. Summer is ideal for a classic seaside getaway, with sunny beach days, events, and a lively atmosphere, though it is the busiest and most expensive season. Winter brings a quieter, more peaceful pace, with festive charm during the holiday season.

Breakfast is served each morning at 9:00 a.m. in the dining room or on our beautiful porch, weather permitting.

A full gourmet family-style breakfast is included each morning.

What kind of breakfast is served at Beauclaire's?

Each morning, guests gather for a family-style gourmet breakfast served in our dining room.

Is there coffee or tea available throughout the day?

Fresh-brewed coffee and tea are available beginning at 8:00 a.m., accommodating both early risers and those who prefer a slower start to the morning. Tea is served each day from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. For added convenience, single-cup Keurig beverages are available 24 hours a day in our sunroom. 

Are dietary restrictions or allergies accommodated?

We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs, with substitutions available upon advance request.

Policies & Reservations

What are the Beauclaire's Bed & Breakfast Inn Cancellation policies?

Due to our small size, cancellations have a significant impact, and last-minute cancellations leave little opportunity to rebook the room. For this reason,

  • Cancellations made 31 days or more in advance incur a $60 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made 30–15 days before arrival are subject to 50% of the room charge plus a $35 processing fee per room.
  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are subject to the full room charge plus a $35 processing fee per room.
