When you arrive, turn into the driveway on the right side of the inn to park, then follow the walkway to the front porch for check-in.
From New York and North Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkway South to Mile Marker 0 (Exit 0).
At the end of the Parkway, turn left onto Route 109 and cross the bridge into Cape May.
- Continue straight as Route 109 becomes Lafayette Street
- At the second traffic light, turn left onto Ocean Street
- Continue for 3 blocks
- Beauclaire’s will be on the left at 23 Ocean Street
From Philadelphia and West
Take I-76 East and cross the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Follow Route 42 South to Route 55 South.
- Continue on Route 55 South (approx. 40 minutes)
- Merge onto Route 47 South, then briefly onto Route 347, then back to Route 47
- Follow signs to the Garden State Parkway South
- Take the Parkway to Exit 0
Then follow:
- Left onto Route 109 into Cape May
- Right onto Lafayette Street
- Left onto Ocean Street at the second light
- Beauclaire’s is 3 blocks ahead on the left
From Baltimore and Washington, DC
Take I-76 East and cross the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Follow Route 42 South to Route 55 South.
- Continue on Route 55 South (approx. 40 minutes)
- Merge onto Route 47 South, then briefly onto Route 347, then back to Route 47
- Follow signs to the Garden State Parkway South
- Take the Parkway to Exit 0
Then follow:
- Left onto Route 109 into Cape May
- Right onto Lafayette Street
- Left onto Ocean Street at the second light
- Beauclaire’s is 3 blocks ahead on the left
From Washington and points South
You may want to consider the Cape May Lewes Ferry. You can make reservations on the ferry ($5 extra) by calling 1-800-643-3779.
- From the Washington Beltway (495), take Route 50 east across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. In the Wye Mills area, take Route 404 east
- Route 16 east, Route 1 south, and follow signs to the Ferry Terminal in Lewes, Delaware.
- Board the ferry to Cape May. It is an approximately 80-minute cruise across the bay.
Cape May is about 15 minutes from the Ferry Terminal. Once in Cape May:
- Follow the signs into town
- Head toward Ocean Street
- Beauclaire’s is located at 23 Ocean Street, near the beach
